9:00am – 10:00am Check-in
10:00am – 12:00pm Technique Clinic
12:00pm – 6:00pm** Dual Meets
**Dual meets will run until each team wrestles 5 matches or until 6pm – whichever comes first
WEIGHT CLASSES
We will use the new weight classes as a guide, but there are no weigh-ins.
106, 113, 120, 126, 132, 138, 145, 152, 160, 170, 182, 195, 220, 285
FORMAT
Technique: We will offer various options for technique and wrestlers will be able to choose what skills they want to work on.
Competition: High School Rules. Three 1.5 minute periods, running clock. 12 point technical fall
COST
$10 per wrestler before October 1st. $15 on October 1st. Registration on October 1st will only be permitted if there is availability. Please register in advance to reserve a place at the clinic.
REGISTRATION
Space is limited to the first 8 teams. Registration can be done by completing this form and mailing it with payment or online.
Once your payment is received, you will receive a confirmation email along with further details.
QUESTIONS
How many dual meets will be wrestled?
Each team will wrestle in 5 dual meets or as many dual meets as we can finish before 6pm. We cannot make any guarantees because the 5 duals is assuming we have at least 6 teams participate.
Why are there no weigh-ins?
Our focus is to get wrestlers competition. We don’t want wrestlers cutting weight for this event. This is a clinic that includes competition and our main goal is to make everyone a little better. Please use the weight classes as a guide. If you have two wrestlers both weighing 110, have them split time between 106 and 113. so please don’t abuse this system. Also, coaches should coordinate before each dual and match up wrestlers based upon weight and experience.
Can I attend unattached?
We will accept unattached wrestlers. You can participate in the technique portion and we will do our best to put you on a team that needs a wrestler at your weight. We cannot guarantee a number of matches and cannot refund the entry if you do not compete.
Can I come to just the technique, but not the live wrestling?
You can participate in the technique session and leave before the live wrestling begins. The cost is still $10 or $15 if you register and pay on October 1st.
