The United States had struggled during greco and women's freestyle at the world championships coming up with zero medals after 4 days of competition. Adeline Gray changed that and won a bronze medal at 67kg becoming the first American to win a medal at these world championships. Along the way she had to beat a multiple time world champion from Canada to stay aline.
